IELTS:
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test of English proficiency that is accepted by most colleges, universities, and professional bodies for admission, work, and immigration purposes. IELTS is jointly managed by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) through more than 350 locations in 120 countries. IELTS has two modules: Academic and General Training. The Academic module of IELTS is for those students who are seeking admissions into educational institutes/colleges/universities for pursuing higher educations whereas the General Training module of IELTS is taken for job seeking, immigration, and training purposes in an English-speaking country.

Test preparation classes at Lycos:
IELTS preparation classes are conducted at Lycos which have duration of six weeks (total 30 hours) with an hour per day from Monday to Friday. The students at Lycos have unlimited access to the Access Center to practice all the skills. Every Sunday, full tests are administered by the faculty and the test papers are examined by qualified examiners, which are then returned to the students with teacher’s feedback for further improvement. The final test is taken by the British Council. For this, the students need to register at the British Council for the availability of the test date in advance. For further details about the test dates and exams, students can visit the British Council website, www.britishcouncil.org.
